Job Description

The role involves leading and developing sales strategies and teams within the telecommunications sector across EMEA, focusing on building relationships with key customers and partners to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the data storage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, scalable sales strategy for the EMEA Telco vertical to achieve double-digit growth.
  • Lead, coach, and support the sales team to meet revenue targets and drive business expansion.
  • Manage relationships with partners and GSIs to ensure collaboration, satisfaction, and identify opportunities for upselling and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and monetization teams to create market-driven go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights and performance reports to leadership to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Telco and IT industries, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams across EMEA.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and grow business in diverse EMEA markets, leveraging deep knowledge of local cultures and economies.
  • Strong strategic mindset, with a history of identifying new market opportunities and driving business expansion.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and corporate support functions to drive results in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, motivate teams, and drive strategic vision.
  • Relationship-driven with a strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with key industry stakeholders and C-Suite executives.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operational sales management within software, hardware, and professional services.
  • Track record of coaching and developing teams, fostering innovation, and driving exceptional performance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing key stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented mindset, with a passion for fostering collaboration and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to build and leverage industry networks to drive business success (preferred).
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to work from the London office or other specified locations in the UK, France, or Germany, in compliance with company policies.
  • Ability to build and implement a 3-year scalable sales plan to achieve consistent double-digit growth.
  • Experience in building and implementing data-driven sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  • Experience managing and nurturing relationships with partners and GSIs, ensuring strong collaboration and satisfaction.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for expansion, upselling, and strategic partnerships within the partner GSI ecosystem.
  • Experience analyzing industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify high-impact growth opportunities.
  • Ability to establish clear success metrics to measure sales effectiveness and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Experience regularly reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
