Key Responsibilities
Develop strategies to foster long-term business growth through Distribution Partners
Assess market growth opportunities based on partner strategy, industry trends, and regional strategy
Build and execute initiatives aligned with growth strategies
Gain and strengthen executive sponsorship to accelerate collaboration with partners
Represent Pure Storage to Distribution Partners and streamline operational processes
Develop sales, technical, and marketing capabilities at Distribution Partners
Create and manage distributor marketing plans and enablement activities
Collaborate with Distributors to increase sales and convert new partners
Leverage technology alliances to drive pipeline growth
Conduct quarterly business reviews and align with global priorities and strategies
Requirements
At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or partner management roles.
Experience and familiarity with the distributor landscape in the country or region.
Proficiency in English and the local language.
Demonstrated ability to grow business with distribution partners in related industry products and services.
Strong ability to collaborate with many layers of stakeholders who are not necessarily in a direct report-to organizational structure.
Ability to assess growth opportunities in the market based on partners' strategy, industry customer trends, and Pure Storage's global regional strategy.
Ability to develop concrete initiatives based on growth strategy and follow through with tenacity for results to be delivered.
Ability to gain and strengthen executive sponsorship to accelerate collaboration.
Ability to develop and drive sales, technical, and marketing capability at the distribution partners in partnership with internal counterparts.
Experience in developing and executing distributor marketing plans in partnership with channel marketing leads.
Experience managing quarterly distribution enablement management funds through activities and programs.
Experience working closely with distributors to focus on key distribution managed partners to improve incremental sales.
Experience working with local channel leadership and distributors to drive action around capturing and converting new target partners to being active with Pure Storage.
Experience leveraging distributors to drive incremental pipeline through technology alliance solutions such as Nutanix, Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik, RedHat, etc.
Ability to discuss and finalize yearly business plans with distributors and conduct quarterly business reviews with all key stakeholders.
Ability to work closely with Theater Distribution Lead to understand and align with global priorities, strategy, and programs.
