The role involves leading the EMEA Deal Strategy team to analyze, structure, and negotiate high-value enterprise deals, driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic financial modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative business models.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end deal strategy and analyze commercial positioning to optimize pricing and deal structures.
Manage and guide a team of deal strategists in structuring high-value enterprise deals while managing financial risk and ensuring compliance.
Drive profitability and growth by developing business cases and articulating value propositions to stakeholders.
Identify market patterns and translate insights into actionable pricing and monetization strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, Product) to facilitate deal execution and troubleshoot issues.
Champion best practices, share knowledge, and communicate deal solutions to executive stakeholders.
Review and innovate processes to improve team efficiency and scale operations using technology tools, including AI.
Support team development through performance management and career growth initiatives.
Requirements
12 years of operational experience in functions like Strategy, Business Development, or Deal Desk at a technology firm.
Demonstrated mastery in formulating complex business cases, financial modeling, and structuring high-value transactions.
Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives and executive-level presentations that drive decision-making and articulate value to both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong sense of accountability and a self-starting, analytical mindset capable of thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments to rapidly create solutions and manage critical deal escalations.
Deep understanding of how business model decisions impact the operating model and the ability to creatively structure solutions that align a customer’s financial objectives with company growth goals.
Use data to understand business challenges, create solutions, and lead discussions, with data being a critical part of the operations and efficiency of the team.
A natural ability to liaise and communicate with people at different levels, in different functions, and from different parts of the organization, demonstrating effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to support the team through performance management, identifying strengths and areas for improvement for individual team members, and helping build their careers.
Work from the company’s Staines, UK EMEA HQ office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
