The role involves leading and developing a team of Cloud Native Architects to drive technical sales, build strategic partnerships, and deliver measurable revenue growth in enterprise cloud storage solutions across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Cloud Native Architects (CNAs) to achieve technical execution, engagement, and adoption outcomes across EMEA Enterprise accounts.
Build and maintain a repeatable operating system to improve deal quality, opportunity predictability, and revenue impact.
Hire, onboard, coach, and develop high-performing technical sales talent, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
Guide CNAs in applying the technical sales process to enhance opportunity focus, deal quality, and execution.
Manage co-seller partner alignment through regular cadences and targeted efforts to influence outcomes for key customers.
Coordinate with product teams and stakeholders to align on releases, feature evolution, and deployment strategies.
Support technical sales account oversight, ensuring team operates effectively within assigned accounts and quotas.
Contribute to and lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, demonstrating deep technical expertise in storage, networking, and cloud architectures.
Requirements
5 or more years of relevant pre-sales experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client-server and web-based computing solutions.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
Experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystem, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, windowing systems.
Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (k8s), and microservices architectures is a plus.
Strong knowledge of digital transformation to a Cloud Native architecture, including On-Premises, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Must have a familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS well-architected framework, microservices architecture.
Curiosity and passion for technology, with the ability to explain and demonstrate new technology platforms and concepts to customers.
