Job Description
The role involves leading Pure Storage's global alliance relationships with key technology partners to drive revenue and strategic success, including developing business plans, fostering executive relationships, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Pure Storage's alliance relationships with key technology companies.
- Position Pure Storage as a strategic partner through mutually agreed business plans to achieve financial goals.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with alliance counterparts and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate across divisions to foster collaboration and develop best practices within alliances.
- Act as an internal ambassador to promote focus alliances and develop strategic positioning.
- Understand and optimize go-to-market strategies to align with alliance business plans.
- Develop and execute long-term alliance plans in conjunction with annual targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience leading focus alliance specific relationships
- At least 9 years of professional experience in a role that has consistently achieved revenue and technical business development targets with alliances
- Experience in developing a 5-year alliance plan in conjunction with yearly target achievement
- Established relationships with focus alliances executives and business line leaders
- Track record of establishing successful field-facing and product Business Unit senior level relationships
- Strong understanding of the operations and motivations of Technology Alliances
- Outstanding communication executive skills including evangelism proficiency
- Exceptional collaboration skills with multiple cross-functional stakeholders from technical to commercial divisions
- Willing and able to travel where relevant as part of the role
