The role involves providing advanced technical support and strategic guidance for large-scale Kubernetes deployments, ensuring system stability, resolving complex incidents, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve product reliability for high-value customers.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for designated high-value accounts, providing proactive monitoring and engagement.
Lead end-to-end resolution of critical incidents in large-scale Kubernetes deployments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce bugs and analyze system logs to improve product reliability.
Partner with customers throughout deployment lifecycle, from pre-sales proofs of concept to production scaling.
Create and share knowledge resources, such as articles and sessions, to promote best practices and ecosystem resilience.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer-facing technical support, with experience in designated or specialized support for critical accounts.
Expertise in Kubernetes, including proven experience in deploying, managing, and securing Kubernetes production clusters.
Experience working with various Kubernetes distributions such as Tanzu, Openshift Container Platform, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), etc.
Extensive experience deploying, securing, and managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters across diverse distributions, including OpenShift, Tanzu, EKS, RKE, or GKE.
Deep proficiency in Linux operating systems with a specialized focus on storage components, enabling independent troubleshooting of complex data-layer issues.
Hands-on experience architecting and supporting solutions across major cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP, and virtualization platforms like vSphere.
Proven ability to manage high-stakes customer relationships, leveraging strong communication skills to navigate escalations and align technical solutions with business outcomes.
