The Corporate Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts within a designated territory, focusing on prospecting, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships in a primarily in-office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sell remotely into mid-market accounts within the assigned territory to meet sales targets
Develop and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners
Build channel relationships to facilitate sales opportunities and close deals
Prospect into new accounts, engage decision-makers, and close business
Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer objectives
Manage sales pipeline, focus on conversion success, and deliver accurate sales forecasts
Requirements
A proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos and building a book of business.
Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
Ability and desire to work the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
Experience in developing account strategies and coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business.
Experience in prospecting into and penetrating new accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing deals.
Ability to develop and present proposals that demonstrate how the Pure Storage solution meets customer business objectives and justifies the sale.
Experience managing a sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success and delivering accurate sales forecasts.
Work authorization to work from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
