Job Description

The Corporate Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts within a designated territory, focusing on prospecting, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships in a primarily in-office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell remotely into mid-market accounts within the assigned territory to meet sales targets
  • Develop and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners
  • Build channel relationships to facilitate sales opportunities and close deals
  • Prospect into new accounts, engage decision-makers, and close business
  • Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer objectives
  • Manage sales pipeline, focus on conversion success, and deliver accurate sales forecasts

Requirements

  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
  • Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
  • Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos and building a book of business.
  • Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
  • Ability and desire to work the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Experience in developing account strategies and coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business.
  • Experience in prospecting into and penetrating new accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing deals.
  • Ability to develop and present proposals that demonstrate how the Pure Storage solution meets customer business objectives and justifies the sale.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success and delivering accurate sales forecasts.
  • Work authorization to work from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
