Job Description
The role involves supporting and enabling strategic channel partners through technical and sales leadership, driving partner growth, providing technical expertise on storage solutions, and fostering long-term relationships to ensure sales success and market growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enable channel partners and internal teams with product and industry knowledge.
- Act as a technical advisor and advocate for partners throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop and execute technical enablement plans and partner training activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner executives and sales teams.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to align go-to-market strategies.
- Mentor partner technical managers and support partner customer evaluations and configurations.
- Demonstrate expertise in storage solutions, architectures, and related technologies.
- Support evaluations, post-sales issues, and technical assessments for partners.
Requirements
- 8-10 years minimum experience supporting the sales channels of enterprise storage, networking or systems solutions to a combination of large enterprise accounts
- Proven cross functional experience and excellent communications skills to drive consensus across groups both internally and within the channel partner organizations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure s value and technical leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, to prioritize effectively, to think big picture, and to use good judgment in resolving difficult issues
- Thorough understanding of the architecture, design and implementations of multi-tiered client server computing solutions
- Ability to present in front of large audiences
- Excellent knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN
- Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, NoSQL alternatives
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, IoT and the associated applications architectures
- Experience with VMWARE, WINDOWS, LINUX, UNIX OS, NFS, SMB file systems, and UNIX distributed network environments
- Existing relationships with key partners
- Knowledge of Hypervisor Technologies such as VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft
- Knowledge of Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP and general networking
- Passion, commitment, and drive for success working in a motivated team environment
