Job Description
The role involves serving as a Consulting Field Solution Architect specializing in unstructured data, where you will promote Pure Storage's solutions through technical consulting, community engagement, solution development, and industry trend analysis to help customers optimize their data storage architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Pure Storage solutions and unstructured data knowledge through customer engagements, webinars, and events.
- Advise customers on architecting, managing, and scaling their data storage systems, including proof of concepts and prototypes.
- Create technical content such as solution walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for unstructured data use cases.
- Participate in solution roadmap discussions, provide field feedback, and influence product development.
- Collaborate with sales, partners, and internal teams to drive solution adoption and customer success.
Requirements
- Proficient in SMB, NFS, Object storage, file protocols, TCP IP networking, NAS, and enterprise datacenter design.
- Deep expertise in unstructured data, including legacy challenges, key use cases, solution areas, innovation trends, and industry direction.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT and cloud infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, cloud, business continuity, and performance.
- Expertise in NAS architecture, design, and solution development for enterprise environments.
- Strong customer-centric mindset focused on solving challenges and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
- Experience in designing and supporting data architectures for large enterprises.
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and apply innovative, creative thinking.
- Exceptional content creation, public speaking, technical training, and presentation skills.
- Passionate about learning, teaching, mentoring, and coaching team members.
- Highly collaborative, able to partner across organizations including sales and alliances to deliver compelling technical messaging.
- Effective communicator capable of engaging constructively with leadership, peers, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, rapidly evolving technology environments.
- Ability to generate differentiated, proactive ideas that support solution adoption and drive sales outcomes.
- Ability and desire to learn new emerging technologies and applications in the ecosystem, including data storage and Portworx.
- Ability to participate in customer facing calls, demos, POCs, webinars, events, workshops, and presentations.
- Ability to create field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for unstructured data use cases.
- Partner with Sales SE Leaders for feedback and communication related to unstructured data sales motions.
- Ability to influence solutions roadmap and participate in internal strategy sizing sessions.
- Active engagement in frequent Slack activity to drive customer opportunity influence.
- Ability to stay abreast of advancements in internal product offerings, external partner offerings, and competitors' offerings.
- Experience in consulting and advising on architecting, managing, and scaling systems for customers.
- Ability to build prototypes to prove out potential use cases in unstructured data.
- Ability to communicate, connect, and align people within the team and develop internal relationships across the organization.

Salary range: 168,000 - 299,000 USD annually, determined by role, level, and location
