Job Description
This role involves leading and supporting the development and enablement of Pure Storage's Cyber Resilience solutions through technical sales, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on educating and motivating the field team to drive business growth in the cybersecurity space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for Cyber Resilience solutions
- Create enablement materials and conduct webinars, events, and presentations to educate internal teams and partners on Cyber Resilience offerings
- Participate in customer-facing activities including calls, demos, proofs of concept, and strategy sessions to support sales opportunities
- Stay informed on advancements in internal and external Cyber Resilience products and market landscape
- Influence solutions roadmap through daily collaboration with Solutions Architects and Product Management
- Oversee field testing and document insights to improve solutions and bridge gaps between solutions and applications
- Provide post-sales expert support and guidance on Cyber Resilience solutions
- Partner with Sales SE Leaders to facilitate feedback and communication between teams
- Motivate and inspire the sales field to adopt Pure Storage technology and achieve sales success
- Engage cross-functionally within the organization to align initiatives and support go-to-market strategies
Requirements
- 10 years of Pre-sales experience in Information Technology.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, storage, and related technologies.
- Strong technical acumen in the Cyber Resilience space with deep interest and vision for the industry, including knowledge of the landscape and Pure Storage solutions.
- Understanding and application of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements across multiple verticals.
- Expertise with common data protection products such as Commvault, Veeam, DELL EMC, Rubrik, etc.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, IAM, etc.
- Certifications such as ISC2 SSCP or CISSP are a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with an ownership mindset who drives the business to overachieve expectations.
- Exceptional level of specialized sales experience with Cyber Resilience product solutions and a solid understanding of Pure Storage’s capabilities as well as competitive advantages.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Pure Storage’s solution strategy to a technical level of detail for the Cyber Resilience domain and teach systems engineers and account executives these concepts.
- Strong technical and tactical problem solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace as well as CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and other locations throughout the US and abroad.
- The annual base salary range is $168,000 to $269,000 USD, with potential eligibility for incentive pay and/or equity.
