Job Description
This role involves leading and supporting Pure Storage's Cyber Resilience solutions through technical sales, enablement, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and industry innovation in data security and protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for Cyber Resilience solutions.
- Create enablement materials and conduct webinars, events, and presentations to educate internal teams and external partners about Cyber Resilience offerings.
- Participate in customer-facing activities including calls, demos, proof of concepts, and strategy sessions to support sales opportunities.
- Stay informed about advancements in internal and external Cyber Resilience products, market trends, and competitors to influence solutions roadmap and field impact.
- Assist in field testing of solutions, document insights, and bridge gaps between product development and customer needs.
- Provide post-sales support with expert knowledge of Cyber Resilience solutions to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to gather feedback, align initiatives, and enable the sales process for Cyber Resilience offerings.
- Identify and enable potential field leaders in Cyber Resilience to expand expertise and responsibilities within the team.
Requirements
- 10 years of Pre-sales experience in Information Technology.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, storage, and related technologies.
- Strong technical acumen in the Cyber Resilience space with deep interest and vision for the industry, including knowledge of the landscape and Pure Storage solutions.
- Understanding and application of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements across multiple verticals.
- Expertise with common data protection products such as Commvault, Veeam, DELL EMC, Rubrik, etc.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, IAM, etc.
- Certifications such as ISC2 SSCP or CISSP are a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with an ownership mindset who drives the business to overachieve expectations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Pure Storage’s solution strategy to a technical level of detail for the Cyber Resilience domain and teach systems engineers and account executives these concepts.
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills with experience in complex engineering designs.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace as well as CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and other locations throughout the US and abroad.
