This role involves leading strategic sales efforts and building long-term relationships with public sector government accounts, particularly in the defense sector, to drive revenue growth through innovative solutions, account expansion, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic vision and revenue growth for Public Sector Central Government accounts.
Drive new business growth through prospecting, sales cycle management, and closing deals.
Apply consultative, outcome-based selling to develop solutions aligned with modernization goals.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with government executives and decision-makers.
Manage account expansion through cross-sell, upsell, and long-term account planning.
Ensure operational excellence by leveraging sales tools, navigating procurement processes, and collaborating with internal teams.
Requirements
Proven Sales Hunter Mentality with a strong track record of acquiring new logos and driving account expansion in complex, highly regulated environments such as the public sector or defense sector.
Ability to identify and close white space opportunities across large public-sector organizations, including navigating complex hierarchies typical of Defense sector.
Persistence, creativity, and rigor in generating net-new pipeline and consistently exceeding quota expectations within a complex, sovereign environment.
Deep experience in strategic account planning and stakeholder mapping, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders within large government structures.
Demonstrated capability to lead multi-year strategies in highly regulated sectors, including developing multi-year account roadmaps aligned with customer mission and transformation priorities.
Expertise in leading business-focused, outcome-based conversations, including building compelling ROI and TCO business cases, and guiding customers through technical and organizational transformation.
Understanding of storage technologies, cloud computing, and modern data center architecture, with the ability to translate technology into mission outcomes for Defense environments.
Familiarity with sovereign data, cybersecurity, and high-availability requirements relevant to public sector and defense sectors.
Strong ownership and strategic thinking, with high intrinsic motivation, emotional intelligence, resilience, and discipline in planning, execution, pipeline management, and results delivery.
Ability to operate with business fluency in both French and English to enable effective collaboration with domestic public-sector stakeholders and international internal teams.
Location requirement: This is an in-office role based in Paris, France, with flexibility only for PTO, business travel, or approved leave.
