Job Description
This role involves managing and growing strategic public sector and defense accounts for Celonis, selling enterprise SaaS solutions through complex sales cycles, and building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders to support digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic public sector and defense accounts.
- Build long-term partnerships with public sector and defense stakeholders using a consultative sales approach.
- Drive complex sales cycles with high-value deals, owning revenue targets.
- Identify new opportunities and contribute to go-to-market strategies in the public sector and defense markets.
- Engage with C-level and senior public sector leaders to represent the company's solutions.
- Collaborate with strategic partners such as consulting firms, system integrators, and technology vendors.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including business development, marketing, solution engineering, and customer success.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions to C-level and senior decision-makers in the Public Sector.
- Strong understanding of the Public Sector and or Defense ecosystems, including procurement processes, regulatory constraints, governance models, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with partners such as consulting firms, system integrators, and technology providers in a coordinated go-to-market motion.
- Ability to build, iterate, and scale a growth initiative from zero, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and thriving in ambiguity.
- Ability to excel in a high-growth, fast-moving, dynamic environment with a solutions-oriented approach, positive mindset, and creativity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to bring teams together.
- Own an individual revenue target and drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with six-figure deal values.
- Manage and grow a focused portfolio of Strategic Accounts across the Public Sector, including central government ministries, national agencies, local authorities, and defense-related organizations.
- Engage with C-level and senior public leaders such as CIOs, CFOs, COOs, Program Directors, and Cabinet-level stakeholders.
- Represent the full portfolio of solutions, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Budget Performance, Procurement Optimization, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain, Compliance, Sustainability, and Customer Care.
- Lead and coordinate with key strategic partners, including consulting firms, system integrators, and technology vendors.
- Possess a proven track record of managing revenue and sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders with deal values of six figures or more.
