Job Description
The role involves developing new business and promoting innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions by building strong customer relationships, collaborating with partners, and exceeding sales targets within the enterprise sector in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers
- Promote and advocate for all-flash enterprise storage solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to secure new clients
- Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Collaborate with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position products
- Develop and implement strategies to close deals consistently
- Present proposals and communicate the benefits of Pure Storage solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of field sales experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Experience with direct and indirect sales on Enterprise accounts, especially within the French CAC40.
- Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners.
- Advanced prospecting skills in engaging new customers.
- Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture.
- Sales experience towards enterprise manufacturing industry and deep manufacturing industry knowledge.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Moderate level of English reading comprehension required to perform job-related tasks effectively.
- Ability to build relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
- Strong drive for sales and relationship building.
- Goal-oriented attitude and desire to drive change.
