Job Description

This role involves developing new business and promoting innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions within Japan's social infrastructure sectors, building strong customer relationships, and leading sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to acquire new customers and maximize revenue.
  • Promote and communicate the value of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's social infrastructure sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure industry-leading satisfaction.
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead project teams and leverage internal resources to drive customer success and solution implementation.

Requirements

  • At least five years of corporate sales experience, primarily focused on new customer acquisition or business development.
  • Proven history of consistently exceeding targets and delivering business results strong enough to earn recommendations from customers and partners.
  • Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Sincerity and passion to engage earnestly with customers primarily in Japan's social infrastructure sectors including electric power, gas, transportation, and construction, and to deeply understand their business challenges.
  • Ability to apply insight, creativity, and a challenger mindset to propose solutions to customer challenges by leveraging technical knowledge and Pure's product portfolio across a broad territory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to build and deepen trusted relationships.
  • Strategic planning and execution capabilities aimed at maximizing revenue and improving operational efficiency within the assigned territory.
  • Experience managing and developing account plans that fully leverage internal resources, lead project teams, and drive the acquisition of new customers.

  • Strong commitment to customer success even after contract execution.
  • Ability to manage and maintain a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
  • Experience in sales and industry knowledge in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand English using translation tools (English conversation skills are not required but preferred).
