Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Northern Virginia, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues.
  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Northern Virginia or the DC Metro Area.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
  • Ability to lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen relationships with customers over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to build and lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for winning new customers.
  • Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and the data center.
  • Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the total value proposition.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, applying customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively.
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
  • Passion for post-sales customer success.

Annual base salary range of $108,500 - $163,000 USD
