The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding quotas through consultative and team-based selling efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
Achieve revenue targets through new logo acquisition and business development
Requirements
8 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues
Experience selling into Commercial customers in North Carolina, specifically the Greater Raleigh Area
Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between assigned accounts and Pure Storage
Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners around the globe to close business on a quarterly and annual basis
Proven prospecting skills with an ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and the data center
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen relationships with customers over time
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
Track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business
Strong desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges with authenticity
Ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions to position Pure’s portfolio effectively
Demonstrated thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset in sales approaches
Passion for post-sales customer success
