Job Description
The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets through consultative and team-based selling approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Assess customer needs and position solutions to address their business challenges
- Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
- Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing client engagement
Requirements
- Five (5) years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues.
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Missouri, specifically in the Kansas City Metro area.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
- Expertise in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
- Ability to evangelize and explain the value proposition of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
- Demonstrated ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Experience leading and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position Pure Storage’s portfolio as a solution to customer problems.
- Commitment to post-sales customer success.
