The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in the Bay Area, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through complex, team-driven sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
Consistently delivering between 5 million to 10 million USD in revenues per year.
Experience selling into Commercial customers in the Bay Area and currently residing in the Bay Area.
Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
Strong prospecting skills with the ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen relationships over time.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the value proposition.
Demonstrated ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively.
Strong leadership skills in managing the sales process and engaging internal and external teams.
