Job Description

The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in the Bay Area, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through complex, team-driven sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Consistently delivering between 5 million to 10 million USD in revenues per year.
  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in the Bay Area and currently residing in the Bay Area.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
  • Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Strong prospecting skills with the ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen relationships over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the value proposition.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing the sales process and engaging internal and external teams.

Annual base salary range of $119,000 to $178,500 USD
