Job Description

The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and managing a pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets in the Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize and promote the company's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate value and ensure high satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position solutions to address their business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the company's client base
  • Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing satisfaction

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in the East Bay Area.
  • Currently selling and living in the Bay Area.
  • Experience coordinating the overall strategy and relationship management between assigned accounts and the company.
  • Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners around the globe to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Ability to evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers fully grasp the company's total value proposition.
  • Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish the company's value and drive customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to ensure engagement of all internal resources to execute and win new customers.
  • Ability to drive and manage a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset with the ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position the company's portfolio to solve persistent problems.
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating between the boardroom and data center while positioning solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Expertise leading complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • A consistent track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Passion for post-sales customer success.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience focused on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Experience consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenue per year.
