Job Summary This role is a unique opportunity for a Texas A&M Kingsville student to gain valuable hands-on experience within Primoris Services Corporation. The specific nature of the role will be tailored to the student's academic background and company needs, providing exposure to various operational or support functions. Job Responsibilities * Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for various projects. * Support project managers and teams with administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication. * Conduct research and compile information relevant to ongoing company initiatives. * Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions as appropriate. * Learn and utilize company-specific software and tools. * Collaborate with various departments to achieve project goals. * Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. * Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the scope of the role. Job Qualifications * Currently enrolled as a student at Texas A&M Kingsville. * Strong academic record, preferably in a field related to Primoris Services Corporation's operations (e.g., engineering, construction management, business, finance, accounting, IT). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. * Must be able to commit to the required hours per week/semester for the duration of the engagement.
Company Overview
Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Heavy Civil is comprised of six operating units that include North Louisiana Operations, South Louisiana Operations, Texas Operations, HMA Paving Operations, Concrete Paving Operations, and the Infrastructure Rehabilitation Unit.
