Desert Pine BESS- CDL Water Truck Driver

Job Overview
Job Summary:** Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Water Truck Driver for the Desert Pine BESS project. This role is responsible for operating water trucks to suppress dust, compact soil, and support various construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications. Job Responsibilities:** * Operate water trucks (manual and automatic transmissions) safely and efficiently on construction sites, including off-road and uneven terrain. * Control dust on active construction areas, haul roads, and access points using water spray. * Apply water for soil compaction as directed by project supervisors and engineers. * Monitor water levels in the truck and replenish as needed from designated sources. * Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tires, lights, and brakes. * Complete daily vehicle inspection reports accurately and promptly. * Identify and report any maintenance issues or mechanical problems with the truck. * Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and traffic laws. * Communicate effectively with supervisors, heavy equipment operators, and other crew members. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment within and around the vehicle. * Assist with other general labor duties on site as needed and directed. Job Qualifications:** * Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Minimum of 2 years of experience operating water trucks in a construction or industrial setting. * Experience with off-road driving and working on uneven terrain is preferred. * Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance. * Strong understanding of federal, state, and local trucking regulations. * Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols. * Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, and in varying weather conditions. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the job. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
