Job Description

The role involves building and maintaining candidate pipelines for engineering, manufacturing, and commercial roles across Europe, primarily focusing on the Berlin satellite manufacturing hub, by sourcing passive candidates, mapping talent landscapes, and collaborating with talent acquisition teams to support rapid hiring and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for engineering, manufacturing, and commercial roles across EMEA, with a focus on the Berlin hub.
  • Proactively map the European talent landscape, identifying target companies, academic programs, and professional communities.
  • Source and engage passive candidates through direct outreach and various sourcing channels.
  • Qualify candidates through initial screening conversations assessing technical background, motivation, and cultural fit.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners to calibrate role requirements and share market intelligence.
  • Build evergreen pipelines for recurring roles to ensure pipeline readiness before requisitions open.
  • Track and report sourcing metrics to refine strategies and demonstrate pipeline impact.
  • Coordinate with North American sourcers to share strategies and maintain candidate experience consistency.
  • Contribute to sourcing process improvements and develop a scalable sourcing playbook.

Requirements

  • Four years of sourcing or recruiting experience, with a meaningful portion focused on engineering, manufacturing, or technical roles in the European market.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to source passive candidates for hard-to-fill technical roles, including building pipelines in competitive talent markets where the best candidates are not actively looking and require sustained, thoughtful engagement.
  • Solid knowledge of the European engineering talent landscape, including understanding where hardware, manufacturing, and aerospace talent concentrates geographically, which employers are the primary talent sources, and how the European job market differs from North America.
  • Excellent candidate engagement skills, with outreach messages that are personalized, relevant, and demonstrate genuine understanding of the candidate’s background and potential fit.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and alternative sourcing channels effectively, with a toolkit beyond basic keyword searches to find candidates that others miss.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • A data-oriented approach to sourcing, including tracking metrics, understanding conversion rates at each stage, and using data to adjust strategies rather than relying on volume alone.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own pipeline, and prioritize across multiple open sourcing projects without losing momentum.
