Job Description
The role involves designing and launching geospatial web applications that transform satellite data into actionable intelligence, supporting environmental, security, and global monitoring efforts through sophisticated data visualization and user interface design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and launch geospatial web applications for satellite data analysis
- Create intuitive geospatial interfaces that translate complex data into actionable insights
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design improvements
- Define and architect the interaction patterns and design system for the monitoring platform
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality design implementation
Requirements
- Six years of experience designing complex digital products, especially bringing new technical, SaaS, or B2B products to market.
- Bachelor's degree in design or an equivalent field.
- End-to-end experience taking projects from early ideation to live software, and iterating based on feedback.
- Proficiency in Figma and enterprise design systems.
- A solid portfolio demonstrating complex professional projects, your process, and the resulting impact.
- Experience conducting lightweight user research and usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable improvements.
- A solid core skillset in UX/UI, interaction design, rapid prototyping, accessibility, and visual design principles.
- Ability to work quickly in undefined and ambiguous environments.
