Job Description
The role involves managing and expanding relationships with Indian military and government agencies, helping them integrate Planet's satellite imagery and geospatial solutions into their workflows to support defense, security, and emergency management missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand relationships with strategic military and governmental agencies in India.
- Act as the main point of contact during the contract lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Assist customers in integrating Planet's geospatial data into their workflows for applications like border security, disaster response, and urban planning.
- Navigate complex Indian government structures to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders across ministries.
- Own the renewal process and identify opportunities for account growth through demonstrating value and expanding use cases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to influence product development based on regional customer requirements.
- Develop and execute success plans with clear KPIs to ensure customer mission success and value realization.
Requirements
- 6 years of experience working directly with the Indian Armed Forces and or Central Government agencies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A solid grasp of GIS, remote sensing, or satellite imagery applications, with the ability to speak the language of geospatial analysts.
- Ability to build connections across ministries and maintain relationships with both high-ranking officials and technical end-users.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into strategic mission outcomes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of engagement with a global team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset, and ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel.
