Job Description
The role involves managing and nurturing relationships with defense and intelligence clients in the EMEA region, acting as a trusted advisor to maximize product adoption and client satisfaction, while leveraging domain expertise in remote sensing, GIS, and geospatial imagery within a remote, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships in the Defence and Intelligence segment
- Assist customers in expanding their usage and adoption of Planet's products
- Onboard and train new clients
- Co-own contract renewals with sales teams
- Ensure successful delivery of services and produce timely solutions based on customer needs
- Communicate regularly with clients throughout the contract lifecycle and escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate with Sales and other teams across the company
- Provide domain expertise and act as a trusted advisor to Defence Intelligence customers
Requirements
- Experience successfully managing customer relationships or projects in defence
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 6 years of experience in Customer Success, account management or similar roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers and sales teams
- Experience working with defence and intelligence customers across the EMEA region
- Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive work style, and ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements
- Ability to travel internationally
- Experience operating within a classified environment
