Job Description
A Customer Success Manager responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with defence and intelligence clients in the EMEA region, providing expert guidance on geospatial and remote sensing products, ensuring client retention, and acting as a trusted advisor to maximize value and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers in the EMEA Defence and Intelligence segment
- Assist customers in expanding their usage and adoption of Planet's products
- Onboard and train new clients
- Co-own contract renewals with sales teams
- Provide excellent customer experience and ensure successful delivery of services
- Communicate regularly with clients throughout the contract lifecycle and escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate closely with sales representatives and other internal teams
- Bring domain knowledge to serve as a trusted advisor to defence intelligence customers
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain Swedish security clearance
- Fluent in Swedish
- Experience successfully managing customer relationships or projects in defence
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Customer Success, account management or similar roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, the language of the company
- Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers and sales teams
- Experience working with defence and intelligence customers across the EMEA region
- Experience operating within a classified environment
- Ability to travel internationally
- Experience in remote sensing, GIS, geospatial imagery products, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working with government customers (preferred but not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of geospatial technologies, GIS, or Remote Sensing (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience as an intelligence professional, imagery analyst, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working with, or in, Swedish defence (preferred but not mandatory)
