Job Description
The role involves managing and maintaining relationships with defence and intelligence customers in the EMEA region, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure customer satisfaction, driving product adoption, and providing domain expertise in remote sensing and geospatial technologies within a space and data company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers in the EMEA Defence and Intelligence segment
- Assist customers in expanding their usage and adoption of Planet's products
- Onboard and train new clients
- Co-own contract renewals with sales teams
- Provide excellent customer experience and ensure successful delivery of services
- Communicate regularly with clients throughout the contract lifecycle and escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate closely with Sales and other internal teams
- Utilize domain knowledge to act as a trusted advisor to defence intelligence customers
Requirements
- Experience successfully managing customer relationships or projects in defence.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 6 years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or similar roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers and sales teams.
- Experience working with defence and intelligence customers across the EMEA region.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive work style, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Experience operating within a classified environment.
