Job Description
The role involves developing strategic relationships and driving sales of Earth observation and geospatial solutions to civil government entities and EU institutions across Northern Europe, managing complex sales cycles, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet public sector needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a portfolio of civil government accounts across Northern Europe and EU institutions.
- Build trusted relationships with government ministries, agencies, space agencies, and public bodies.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles including tenders, RFPs, and framework agreements.
- Coordinate internal teams to deliver compliant and compelling proposals aligned with policy and operational needs.
- Work with partners and system integrators to support government programs.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account plans in CRM.
- Represent the company at European conferences, workshops, and institutional meetings.
Requirements
- Six years of experience in B2G or public sector sales.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Ability to close complex, high-value, multi-year deals.
- Solid understanding of public procurement processes, including tenders and framework agreements.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing contract and pricing discussions.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles while maintaining momentum and stakeholder engagement.
- Solid curiosity and problem-solving mindset to deeply understand customer challenges and policy objectives, and translate them into commercial solutions.
- Experience selling technology, data, SaaS, or geospatial Earth Observation solutions to government customers.
- Solid understanding of how public institutions operate, including policy-driven decision making.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical government audiences.
- Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders, including directors and decision-makers.
- Solid cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company.
