Job Description

The Vice President of Technology and Data will lead the development and management of the company's technology infrastructure and data strategy, driving data quality, insights, and AI applications to support the growth and scalability of Pivot Energy's renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage the company's technology infrastructure and data strategy.
  • Own the technology roadmap and drive initiatives to improve data quality, business insights, and AI use cases.
  • Establish and oversee data governance programs.
  • Align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead and develop internal and external teams to mature technology systems.
  • Foster a culture of coaching, collaboration, and future-readiness within the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience establishing robust data governance programs and aligning diverse technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Proven track record of people-centric leadership with demonstrable examples of successful change management campaigns.
  • Experience maturing technology systems at high-growth companies.
  • Ability to architect and manage the infrastructure behind the people and processes that make a high-growth company scale.
  • Ownership of the technology roadmap and data strategy to drive data quality, business insights, and practical AI use cases.
  • Strong strategic, results-oriented leadership skills.
  • Experience creating a nimble and future-ready organization through scalable information technology systems.
  • Commitment to coaching and collaboration with a focus on building future-ready organizations.
  • Ability to learn the organization and bring a perpetual curiosity to the practical applications of big data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
  • Location flexibility with a preference for Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Baltimore, MD; or remote in the US.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal and external teams.
