The Territory Manager, Site Origination is responsible for early-stage site acquisition and project development efforts for solar projects, including land assessment, outreach to landowners, lease negotiations, and project prioritization in targeted markets.
Key Responsibilities
Assess solar land sites for potential development
Initiate outreach to prospective landowners
Conduct introductory phone calls with landowners
Negotiate and process lease agreements with landowners
Requirements
Experience in early-stage site acquisition and project development efforts for solar energy projects, including assessing solar land sites, initiating outreach efforts to prospective landowners, conducting introductory phone calls with prospective landowners, and negotiating and processing leases for signatures.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment involving many moving pieces related to developing solar projects.
Willingness to work in Colorado (specifically Denver, CO preferred), Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MD, or remotely in the US.
Demonstrated team-oriented attitude and relational skills suitable for a project development origination team.
Experience or ability to assess solar land sites and negotiate lease agreements with landowners.
