The Project Developer is responsible for supporting solar project development through site diligence, land lease negotiations, permitting, managing contractors, and public outreach to advance solar projects from inception to financial closing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site diligence and assess solar sites for development issues
Create and secure land lease amendments with landowners
Develop permitting documents and support permit acquisition
Lead project development tasks for assigned projects
Manage third-party contractors involved in project development
Prepare and execute land use permits
Plan and organize public outreach efforts
Represent the company at land use hearings
