Job Description
The Project Developer will support solar project development in Colorado and South Carolina by conducting site assessments, managing land lease and permitting processes, coordinating with contractors, and representing the company at land use hearings to advance solar projects from development to financial closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site diligence and assess solar sites for development issues
- Create and secure land lease amendments with landowners
- Prepare permitting documents and support project development tasks
- Manage third-party contractors involved in project development
- Prepare and execute land use permits
- Plan and organize public outreach activities
- Represent the company at land use hearings
- Support projects through to financial closing by prioritizing and coordinating tasks
Requirements
- Support ongoing site development efforts, including assessing solar sites for critical issues related to project development in Colorado and South Carolina.
- Create and secure land lease amendments with landowners for solar development projects.
- Create permitting documents required for project development.
- Support and lead project development tasks for assigned projects.
- Manage third-party contractors involved in project development activities.
- Prepare and execute land use permits necessary for project implementation.
- Plan and organize public outreach activities related to solar project development.
- Represent Pivot at land use hearings as part of project development responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and effectively communicate internally and externally to manage multiple project development activities simultaneously.
