Job Description
The Director of Project Finance will oversee renewable energy project financing, including construction debt and tax equity transactions, manage relationships with capital providers, and collaborate across departments to enhance deal efficiency and support the company's growth in sustainable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction term debt and tax equity transactions for renewable energy projects.
- Support the Project Finance team on multiple financing transactions.
- Maintain relationships with capital providers and liaise with external stakeholders such as financiers and consultants.
- Collaborate with internal departments including development, construction, and legal to improve deal velocity and transaction efficiency.
- Manage at least one Associate involved in project finance activities.
Requirements
- Experience working on construction term debt and tax equity transactions for renewable energy projects.
- Ability to support the Project Finance team on multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Experience managing at least one Associate.
- Ability to collaborate with team members across departments such as development, construction, and legal to improve deal velocity and transaction efficiency.
- Proven ability to maintain relationships with capital providers and liaise between internal departments and external stakeholders such as financiers and consultants.
- Demonstrated experience in driving project financing efforts for renewable energy projects.
