Job Description

A Senior Product Marketing Specialist II responsible for promoting and advocating for Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) technology across industrial and infrastructure markets, combining technical expertise, strategic planning, and business development to drive adoption, ecosystem growth, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the public and internal champion for SPE technology.
  • Represent the company at industry events, standards bodies, and user groups.
  • Create and present thought leadership content on SPE and related data connectivity topics.
  • Collaborate with product management to promote SPE and execute strategic product plans.
  • Translate technical capabilities of SPE into real-world applications across various industries.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor offerings in SPE and data connectivity segments.
  • Identify emerging customer needs and contribute to new product development initiatives.
  • Provide insights from standards bodies and market feedback to influence product roadmaps.
  • Define and prioritize use cases and verticals for SPE adoption.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs, integrators, and technology providers.
  • Support field sales and strategic account development through technical expertise and solution positioning.
  • Develop technical and sales enablement materials and conduct technical presentations and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a technology evangelist, product marketing, or business development in industrial networking, Ethernet, or data connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) and its applications in industrial, automotive, or building automation markets.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and relatable communication for a diverse audience.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing product direction.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with others, build relationships, and involve others in decision making.
  • Ability to deliver results by solving or supporting others in solving problems, prioritizing tasks and resources, and focusing on outcomes.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness, willingness to learn and grow, accept changes, and adapt effectively to changing work demands.

  • Ability to travel 20-25% including occasional overseas travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 2-4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to travel via automobile, train, or plane for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
