Job Description
The Strategic Account Manager for Global Electronic OEMs is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company's presence through cross-functional leadership and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior management and decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps and business plans to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities for products and solutions within assigned accounts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on tactical business plans and monitor performance against goals.
- Lead and organize business reviews, analyze competitive activity, and recommend areas for improvement.
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to assigned accounts, involving necessary resources.
- Communicate price negotiations and channel partner strategies to relevant internal teams.
- Utilize CRM tools for customer planning, reporting, and opportunity tracking.
- Represent the company at industry associations, distributor, and customer events.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of Phoenix Contact products and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline.
- 8 years of relevant professional-level work experience preferred, including but not limited to Technical Sales, Account Management, and or Business Development.
- Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders at a global level and build mutually beneficial customer relationships.
- Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Adept in the utilization of technology to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrated competence in establishing and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing sales through distribution channels is a plus.
- Must be able to travel via airplane, domestically and internationally.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs (samples, demos, literature).
- Must be able to travel overnight 35-50% of the time.
- Must comply with company dress code guidelines.
- Must be punctual in all aspects of work.
