Job Description

A senior analyst role focused on analyzing and documenting business requirements, primarily in Finance and Accounting, while supporting SAP ERP system configuration, enhancements, and project management to improve business processes and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements for finance and accounting processes
  • Configure and support SAP ERP software, including system updates and testing
  • Lead and manage finance-related system enhancements and project initiatives
  • Provide technical and user support, including training and documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and manage system application support
  • Manage system resources, capacity planning, and ensure high availability of applications
  • Participate in system roll-outs, system interfacing, and integration projects
  • Utilize analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
  • Communicate project status and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in CIS, BIS, or related field with 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Finance, or an associate degree with 8 years of experience in the same role.
  • Prior SAP experience in Finance and Controlling is required.
  • Specific ERP experience in areas such as General Ledger, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Fixed Assets, Banks, Vendors, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) Processing, and Credit Management is required.
  • SAP roll-out experience is preferred.
  • Integrating and interfacing systems experience is required.
  • Strong project management skills are required.
  • Knowledge of relational database systems, including Oracle SQL and PL SQL, is required.
  • The ability to adjust quickly to rapidly changing priorities is required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in the company are required.
  • The ability to manage projects across technical and functional disciplines is required.
  • The ability to execute assigned project tasks within an established schedule is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in technical areas related to business systems.
  • Ability to develop and translate business needs into requirement documents and functional specifications.
  • Ability to perform problem solving using analytic skills and provide solutions.
  • Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time up to 4 hours.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 2-4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel in vehicles, automobiles, trains, or planes for up to 10 hours.
  • Must comply with company dress code guidelines.
  • Must be able to travel to foreign countries.
  • Must be on-call 24x7, as required.
  • Regular and on-time attendance is required.
