Job Description
A senior analyst role focused on analyzing business requirements, supporting and configuring SAP ERP systems in Finance and Accounting, leading process improvements, managing projects, and providing technical and user support to optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements for finance and accounting processes
- Configure and perform system setup for SAP ERP software
- Provide application support and coordinate with internal and external resources
- Manage projects related to business process improvements and system enhancements
- Develop and execute system testing, including creating use cases and facilitating user acceptance testing
- Support post-implementation processes and technical support for applications
- Design, implement, and maintain solutions in collaboration with vendors and IT teams
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and manage system application support
- Lead system application management, prioritize tasks, and ensure system resources are optimized
- Develop support documentation and provide user training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in CIS, BIS, or related field and 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Finance, or an associate degree and 8 years of experience in the same role.
- Prior SAP Experience in Finance and Controlling is required.
- Specific ERP experience with respect to areas such as General Ledger, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Fixed Assets, Banks, Vendors, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Processing, and Credit Management is required.
- SAP roll-out experience is preferred.
- Integrating and interfacing systems experience is required.
- Strong project management skills are required.
- Knowledge of relational database systems, as well as Oracle SQL and PL SQL, is required.
- The ability to adjust quickly to rapidly changing priorities is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in the company are required.
- The ability to manage projects across technical and functional disciplines is required.
- The ability to execute assigned project tasks within an established schedule is essential.
- Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time up to 4 hours.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, 2-4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to travel in vehicles, automobiles, trains, and planes for up to 10 hours.
- Must be able to travel to foreign countries.
- Must be on-call 24x7, as required.
- Regular and on-time attendance is required.
