Job Description
The Product Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing strategies for automation products, focusing on new product launches, digital promotion, sales enablement, and market positioning to drive product awareness and adoption within a B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for product lines, focusing on new product launches, sales enablement, digital promotion, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Plan, manage, and execute targeted marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, and go-to-market channels to increase product visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate and support new product introductions, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Create and maintain sales enablement tools such as product briefs, presentations, brochures, and digital assets to support sales efforts.
- Design and implement digital promotional strategies, including online advertising and partner website features, to enhance product awareness.
- Lead social media marketing initiatives to build brand and product awareness across platforms.
- Deliver product training to internal teams, distributors, and customers on features, benefits, and applications.
- Conduct market and competitive research to monitor trends and provide insights for product development and positioning.
- Drive pricing strategies by analyzing market trends, setting competitive prices, and reviewing special pricing requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with marketing goals.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to generate leads and promote products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering degree preferred or equivalent technical work experience.
- Experience in product marketing, sales enablement, and digital marketing within a B2B environment.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts in automation and electronics and convert them into engaging marketing content for diverse audiences.
- Ability to conduct market and competitive research and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with analog and I O components used in industrial automation systems, such as signal conditioners, analog input output modules, and sensors (preferred).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel 10-20%, including occasional overseas travel.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 2-4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods up to 4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to travel via automobile, train, or plane for up to 10 hours.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
