The internship involves conducting strategic market research, competitive intelligence, and data analysis to support the company's growth and go-to-market strategies, providing real-world experience in marketing, strategy, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with strategic marketing across new and current accounts
Meet with sales and marketing teams to identify markets or accounts needing profiling
Participate in strategic sessions to assess new and existing markets
Conduct desk research on markets, competitors, and customer segments
Build TAM, PAM, and SAM models using market reports and sales data
Create summaries and decision-support slides based on research findings
Validate data consistency between Salesforce and internal references
Perform competitive intelligence analysis to inform go-to-market strategies
Requirements
Must be a current college student enrolled in a program related to Economics, Market Research, Business Intelligence, or Industrial Engineering.
Ability to perform TAM, PAM, and SAM sizing using market reports and internal sales data.
Strong research and analytical writing skills.
Experience using market intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo, Statista, IBISWorld.
Familiarity with CRM data, segmentation, and trend identification.
Ability to work with Product Marketing on competitive snapshots for upcoming reviews.
Ability to build TAM, PAM, and SAM models using market reports and internal sales data.
Ability to conduct desk research on markets, competitors, and customer segments.
Ability to validate data alignment between Salesforce and internal references.
Meet with Sales, ABS, or AEP teams to clarify markets or accounts needing profiling.
Participate in strategic sessions assessing new and existing markets.
Present findings in short read-outs to leadership.
Create insight-rich summaries and decision-support slides.
Work side-by-side with cross-functional leaders in Strategy, Product, and Business Development.
Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of up to 4 hours.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 2-4 hours at a time.
Must be able to commute to the Middletown, PA office.
Must have on-time and regular attendance.
