Job Description
Assist with daily distribution center operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products, utilizing warehouse management systems, and operating equipment such as forklifts to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming products using WMS
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately using WMS and shipping software
- Operate forklifts and hand trucks to load and unload trucks
- Maintain proper documentation and accuracy in distribution center activities
- Follow task instructions and ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or have G.E.D.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime when necessary, including weekends.
- Familiarity with use of personal computers.
- Experience familiarity with warehouse management systems and related business systems.
- Follow all task instructions of WMS user interface at workstations.
- Use WMS properly at receiving and inspect incoming goods for quantity and part number.
- Distribute product to proper locations such as ASRS and conventional storage areas.
- Operate hand trucks and forklifts with proper training.
- Pick and pack customer orders from ASRS and conventional storage areas.
- Use WMS properly to check all outbound orders for accuracy.
- Ship packages as per directions via WMS.
- Understand and operate WMS and distribution center-related central business system functions as needed.
- Must be able to work in a distribution center environment that requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 70 lbs.
