Job Description
Assist with daily operations in the Distribution Center, including picking, packing, receiving, and shipping products, while operating warehouse management systems and equipment to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming products using WMS
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Operate forklifts and hand trucks to load and unload trucks
- Use WMS and shipping software to ensure order accuracy and proper shipment
- Follow task instructions related to distribution center operations
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or have G.E.D.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime when necessary, including weekends.
- Must be extremely professional, ethical, and customer-focused.
- Regular and on-time attendance is required.
- Experience familiarity with warehouse management systems and related business systems.
- Use WMS properly at receiving and inspect incoming goods for quantity and part number.
- Operate hand trucks and forklifts with proper training for forklifts.
- Follow all task instructions of WMS user interface at workstations.
- Pick and pack customer orders from ASRS and conventional storage areas.
- Use WMS properly to check all outbound orders for accuracy.
- Ship packages as per directions via WMS.
- Understand and operate WMS and distribution center-related central business system functions as needed.
