Job Description

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and timely delivery within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of materials and inventory to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate ERP parameters such as EOQ, lot size, safety stock, and reorder points based on demand and forecast data.
  • Execute purchase orders and manage replenishment and stocking programs for designated customers.
  • Analyze demand, forecast data, and sales trends to support inventory optimization and replenishment strategies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to support inventory turns and service levels.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and data analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Purchasing to support stocking programs and operational targets.
  • Participate in inventory review processes such as scrap reviews and supplier returns.
  • Coordinate new item setups and data requirements with relevant departments.
  • Perform daily ERP functions including creating purchase orders, issuing orders, and responding to supplier issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain operations.
  • Working knowledge of MRP and CRP systems.
  • Experience using forecasting tools and understanding of bills of materials.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Solid math and statistical analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be able to withstand long periods up to 4 hours without a break.
  • Must be able to read and write fluently in English.
  • Must be professional, ethical, and customer-focused.
  • Must be willing to travel internationally.
  • Must be willing to work over-time as needed.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
