Job Description
The CRM Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions while providing business systems analysis, technical support, and project management within a global IT team to ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions and enhancements using Apex.
- Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, configurations, and data models.
- Coordinate system testing, create use cases, and manage interfaces for Salesforce and related applications.
- Perform application version updates, including testing and coordination with vendors and corporate headquarters.
- Provide technical support, develop user documentation, and assist in resolving application incidents.
- Manage projects related to business process improvements and ensure system resources and capacity are optimized.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams, including vendors, to ensure system functionality and support.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience with Salesforce development utilizing Apex, or five years of experience with Salesforce development utilizing Apex if holding an Associate Degree in CIS or BIS.
- Prior hands-on Salesforce CRM experience required.
- Experience integrating and interfacing systems is required.
- Strong project management skills are required, including the ability to manage projects across technical and functional disciplines and execute assigned project tasks within established schedules.
- Knowledge of relational database systems and experience with SQL is required.
- Ability to adjust quickly to rapidly changing priorities is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all company levels and cultures are required.
- Experience working on global international teams is preferred.
- Experience working with and managing vendors is required.
- Must be able to perform the following physical demands: look at a computer screen for extended periods up to 4 hours, sit and/or stand for 2-4 hours at a time, lift 50 pounds, and travel in vehicles, trains, or planes for up to 10 hours.
- Must be able to travel to foreign countries.
- Must be on-call 24x7, as required.
- Regular and on-time attendance is required.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in CIS or BIS and 3 years of experience, or an Associate Degree with 5 years of experience in Salesforce development utilizing Apex.
