Job Description
The Corporate Channel Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies with channel partners to drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and foster strong relationships through cross-functional collaboration and partner management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and relationship development with assigned channel partners.
- Develop and execute joint business plans to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and new product introductions.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with distributor leadership to discuss performance metrics, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with channel strategies and support for partners.
- Manage channel partner contracts, pricing strategies, and compliance with distribution policies.
- Coordinate marketing programs and co-op marketing funds to support partner initiatives.
- Support the development and deployment of distributor training programs and enforce distribution policies.
- Enhance reporting, performance measurement, and operational efficiency in channel management.
- Stay informed on market dynamics and competitive activity within the distribution space.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years experience in the industrial marketplace, with proven success in Industrial Sales required.
- Proficiency in R3 Base selling skills and ability to implement them to build strong customer relations.
- Understanding of distribution as a manufacturer’s sales channel, including profit margins, inventory levels, and turns.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, superior organization, time management, and analytical skills.
- Must be able to travel via airplane and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs (samples, demos, literature).
- Must be able to travel overnight up to 50%.
- Must comply with company dress code guidelines.
- Punctuality in all aspects is required.
- Timely submittal of expense reports, monthly account reports, visit reports, and business reviews.
- Participation in local, regional, and international meetings.
- Must have the ability to work remotely within the company's hybrid work policy (employees within 60 miles of designated US office locations are required to work in hybrid capacity; others may work remotely).
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative, accountability, and integrity by taking ownership of tasks, learning from mistakes, and following through on commitments.
- Must be able to stay informed on market dynamics within the electronic components distribution space.

- Must lead quarterly business reviews with distributor leadership, presenting performance metrics, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

- Must collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including sales, marketing, product management, and operations to ensure alignment with channel strategies and field support.
- Must manage channel partner contracts, pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with distribution policies and supply chain expectations.
- Must support the development and deployment of distributor training programs, including factory, field-based, and video-on-demand training.
- Must assist in the creation and enforcement of distribution policies, procedures, and transactional business improvements.
- Must stay informed on competitive activity and market dynamics within the electronic components distribution space.
