Job Description

A Business System Analyst is responsible for aligning business needs with technology solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and designing systems to improve operational efficiency. The role involves project management, system configuration, testing, support, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements and processes.
  • Configure and perform updates on business software such as Salesforce CRM, ERP, PLM, and WMS.
  • Manage projects related to business process improvements and system updates.
  • Develop and execute system testing, including creating use cases and facilitating user acceptance testing.
  • Provide technical support and develop documentation for business systems and users.
  • Coordinate with external partners and internal teams for support, problem resolution, and system maintenance.
  • Ensure system resources and capacity are optimized for efficient operation and high availability.
  • Translate business needs into requirement documents and functional specifications.
  • Assist in resolving Level 2 incidents related to applications and systems support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different locations to support system integration and implementation.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor s Degree in CIS BIS and 5-years experience, or an associate degree and 7-years experience, as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Experience in integrating and interfacing systems is required.
  • Strong project management skills are required.
  • Knowledge of relational database systems, as well as Oracle SQL and PL SQL, is required.
  • The ability to adjust quickly to rapidly changing priorities is required.
  • Persuasive communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in the company are required.
  • The ability to manage projects across technical and functional disciplines is required.
  • The ability to execute assigned project tasks within an established schedule is essential.
  • Experience in business process modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM software, and certifications in Business Analysis.
  • Experience in performing set-ups and configuration of software such as Salesforce CRM, ERP, PLM, WMS, and related software.
  • Experience in performing project management for business process improvement projects.
  • Experience in developing and executing system testing, creating use cases, developing and executing test plans, and facilitating user acceptance testing.
  • Experience in providing business systems technical support, including coordinating and developing user and technical support documentation, and providing post-implementation support.
  • Experience working with external partners for support and problem resolution.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure and Operational Solutions IT-IOS to design, implement, and maintain solutions supporting applications.
  • Experience coordinating efforts to ensure system resources and capacity are sufficient for efficient application operation and high availability.
  • Experience coordinating activities and tasks with vendors and internal project teams, including local and international cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirement documents and functional specifications.
  • Experience assisting in the resolution of Level 2 incidents for application and systems support.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in conversation and writing.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders who can provide information, assistance, and support.
  • Ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out information when others are reluctant to disclose it.
  • Approach problems using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and work with coaches to develop others' capabilities.
  • Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of up to 4 hours.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 2-4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel in vehicles, automobiles, trains, and planes for up to 10 hours.
  • Must comply with company dress code guidelines.
  • Must be able to travel to foreign countries.
  • Must be on-call 24x7, as required.
  • Regular and on-time attendance is required.
