Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Discovery leads early-stage research and innovation efforts in microbiome science, overseeing assay development, pre-clinical studies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to develop transformative probiotic products that improve human health globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead early-stage research and discovery efforts to support innovation pipeline
- Guide discovery strategy and oversee assay development
- Drive pre-clinical research activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product claims, safety, and early product and process development
- Ensure regulatory readiness for research and development projects
Requirements
- A PhD degree in a relevant scientific field such as microbiology, molecular biology, genomics, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing research teams and leading early-stage research and discovery efforts.
- Ability to guide discovery strategy and oversee assay development.
- Experience driving pre-clinical research activities.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines and with cross-functional partners to support product claims, safety, early product and process development, and regulatory readiness.
