The Project Manager will oversee the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, primarily solar, by managing EPC contractors, ensuring technical and project milestones are met, and providing technical expertise in renewable technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Select and manage the EPC contractor for renewable energy projects
Oversee the construction process to ensure project completion
Participate in early project development stages and advise on construction aspects
Lead technical aspects of the joint venture and coordinate with stakeholders
Collaborate with partners to align technical strategies and meet project milestones
Apply expertise in solar, wind, and battery technologies to support project development
Negotiate EPC contracts to secure favorable terms
Requirements
Japanese language proficiency is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in wind and battery technologies.
Demonstrated success in building at least 100 MW of renewable energy projects.
Experience negotiating EPC contracts and managing construction projects.
Senior-level leadership experience in the renewable energy sector.
