The Project Manager will oversee the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, primarily solar and battery systems, managing EPC partnerships and ensuring successful project execution from early development stages through operational phases.
Key Responsibilities
Select and onboard EPC partners, ensuring qualification and compliance with company standards
Manage the technical aspects of renewable energy projects to ensure successful execution
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies and meet project milestones
Ensure adherence to OHS standards during project construction
Provide technical expertise in solar and battery technologies to support project development and operations
Advise the development team on constructive aspects during early project stages
Manage operations and maintenance relationships and activities as needed
Negotiate EPC contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions
Requirements
Demonstrated success in building at least 15 MW of renewable energy projects, including a mix of small-scale C I projects.
Proven experience in Solar and Battery technologies.
Experience negotiating EPC contracts and managing construction projects.
Experience managing O M relationships and conducting O M functions when needed.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated track record of selecting EPC partners, ensuring qualification and vendor onboarding based on PEAK ENERGY SOP, and leading technical aspects to ensure successful project execution.
Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to align technical strategies and achieve project milestones.
Knowledge of standard solar-related tools such as Pvsyst and Helioscope.
Experience in technical advising during early project development stages.
Experience in contract negotiation, working closely with legal and procurement teams to finalize agreements.
Senior-level leadership experience in the renewable energy sector.
