Job Description
A Strategy Intern MBA at Peak Energy in Singapore will work closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, market analysis, investor relations, and growth initiatives within the renewable energy sector, supporting critical business decisions and innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and validation of the company's medium-term strategic plan and business model.
- Conduct market research, policy analysis, and competitive benchmarking across key regions and technologies.
- Monitor and analyze trends in renewable energy, capital markets, and regulatory environments.
- Support the preparation of materials and analyses for investment approval processes.
- Track and analyze asset portfolio performance, financial metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Assist in developing dashboards and strategic reporting tools.
- Support assessment of emerging growth areas and differentiation opportunities, including energy storage and AI solutions.
- Develop materials for new business cases and inorganic growth projects.
- Conduct due diligence and analysis related to exit opportunities and fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA or similar graduate degree.
- Strong background in strategy, consulting, finance, or corporate development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, executive-level materials.
- Independent, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Passion for clean energy, climate solutions, and impactful business.
