An IT Support Specialist responsible for providing end-user support across various devices and technologies, maintaining documentation, managing inventory, and contributing to the development of scalable IT systems in a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-user support for laptops, mobile devices, AV systems, printers, and network issues.
Manage and resolve support requests via ticketing system, Slack, Jira, or walk-ins.
Administer and support software tools and SaaS platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Microsoft Office.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and deprovisioning accounts and devices.
Document support processes and build knowledge base articles.
Manage inventory and storage of technology peripherals and equipment.
Assist in office build-outs and setting up new technology infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues across multiple operating systems and devices.
Requirements
Two years of experience in technical support, desktop support, or a related role.
Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as mobile devices such as Android and iOS.
Comfort with administration and governance of corporate productivity tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence, and Jira.
Skills in supporting A V equipment, printers, and networking basics such as patching cables.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work directly with people to solve problems.
A process-oriented mindset with attention to detail in documentation and process management.
Ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
Willingness to perform hands-on work, including resolving support tickets, setting up workstations, and supporting office space needs.
Ability to support onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning and deprovisioning accounts and devices.
Experience with managing inventory and storage of technology peripherals and equipment.
Ability to participate in office build-outs and capital projects, including setting up new equipment and physical technology.
Comfortable working on-site at the Portland office.
